The agreement
By creating a HackFirstAid Household account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What we provide
Tools to monitor household identities for breaches, training and guidance, a household security score, and incident-response playbooks. The service helps you reduce risk; it does not guarantee that compromises can't happen.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials secure and enable MFA.
- Only add email addresses you have the right to monitor.
- Supervise children's accounts you create.
- Use the service lawfully and respect other people's privacy.
Billing
Paid plans renew on the cadence you select until you cancel. Cancel any time from Billing; coverage continues through the paid period and a 14-day grace window.
Acceptable use
No reverse engineering, scraping, abuse of monitoring features, or use of the service to harm others.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We work hard to detect and prevent threats, but we can't guarantee 100% prevention of every incident.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
